Replacement Permits

The fee for a replacement permit is $10.00. You must present the original trail permit receipt along with the original permit, or portion thereof. If not available, a police report or police incident number is required for stolen or lost permits.

Licensing
You need a valid Driver's License or Snow Vehicle Operator's Permit to legally drive a snowmobile in Ontario. Ontario honours Driver's Licences issued by other jurisdictions. Under the authority of the Motorized Snow Vehicle Act, The Minister of Transportation has authorized the OFSC as an agent to issue snow vehicle operator's licenses. For more details on obtaining a snowmobile license, visit the OFSC Driver Training Program.

Insurance
In order to ride Ontario's trails, you must have insurance for your sled.
